My time at FT.WASTUDIO was truly incredible. Despite only interning for a month, I learnt a ton. I picked up the skill of brainstorming ideas from scratch, even starting with just a single word. I also got to dive into creating concepts for music videos and tap into my own creativity while working alongside others. Dealing with clients taught me about responsibility and accountability. Plus, being around such talented creatives was inspiring. Learning new techniques and ways of creating was a highlight that Iβll always remember. Moreover, witnessing firsthand how these creatives are making a difference in Pakistan through their amazing work was truly inspiring and motivating. Every day felt like an adventure, with each task presenting new opportunities for growth and learning. From collaborating with team members to problem-solving on projects, every experience added to my skill set and confidence. Overall, this internship has not only equipped me with valuable skills but has also ignited a passion for creativity and innovation that Iβll carry with me into my future endeavours.

I have been a part of FT.WA for a little over a year now. I am currently a final year Fine Art student from IVS working as a freelance junior creative with FT.WA. As a young student still pursuing their undergrad, I didn’t have a lot of work experience or how things are actually done in the real world. Shams offered me to be a part of a project starting on and ever since that I have been a part of the studio/brand. The one thing that I admire the most about the work environment is that there is always an emphasis on learning and growing together as a team. As young creatives, it can be easy to get lost and not know who you really are as a creative/artist. I have been fortunate enough to have the space & encouragement to explore that working with FT.WA.

Starting as an intern, FT.WA wasn’t like other startups. It felt like every day was a challenge of artistic exploration.
From brainstorming sessions to collaborative projects, FT.WA encouraged celebrated creativity no matter how big a project or small a task. I had the freedom to experiment and refine my creative skills, resulting in animations and designs that surpassed my expectations, especially for industries I’ve never interacted with.
But what truly made FT.WA special was the people. The supportive environment and camaraderie among colleagues fostered a culture where everyone’s contributions were valued. I not only had a portfolio of impressive work but also invaluable lessons and memories.

As a communication designer from IVS, I recently got the chance to join FT.WA Studio and create with the incredibly talented team. Working with Shams taught me how it takes a lot more than just people coming together to work towards an idea- itβs the dedication and days of hard work to execute it and get to see a project come to life.
Itβs a safe space where multi talented creatives pitch in for a similar, impactful and a meaningful cause that lasts.
Itβs been an amazing journey so far, and I hope to be able to contribute more to the studio in the future.
Sabika
The Design Internship at FT.WASTUDIO was one of my first professional projects after graduating from Habib University in 2021. Despite my lack of experience, I was treated very respectfully as an intern, with empathy and understanding from FTWAβs side – something I will always be grateful for. My time there was absolutely worthwhile because whatever I learnt about design was applicable to my professional experiences that followed. It definitely helped that I loved the work FT.WASTUDIO was producing, and I continue to love the work they produce even now.

This experience not only honed my skills across different domains but also exemplified the transformative power of visionary leadership in fostering a profound sense of camaraderie and a collaborative creative ecosystem.
